This was just a fast one before working a double at chili's. I knew I wouldn't have time for much after work so I took it. I then added eye lashes in photoshop, I wish mine looked like that for real. I also smoothed out under my eye and smugged some of the eye liner so it was more fluid looking.

day 142-365, brick wall mural
I had an idea of a brick wall mural done with photoshop. So I set up my lights, put on heavy eye makeup, did my hair and added my clip on extensions that I have had since when I was in my old band, but only used the hair once. Put on my shorts and grabbed a few tops that I wouldn't be caught wearing now that I am not in a band. I then took the photo into photoshop and opened a brick wall photo that I have. I dragged the brick wall photo over to my photo so it was a new layer. Took that layer and changed it to multiply. I then copied the background layer (which was me) then I went to filters and put the effect glowing edges on my photo, I inverted that layer and also put the layer as multiply. Made the whites of my eyes brighter and then resized for the web. If you make one like this please show me :)

Well this was about an half hour of my life. I set my camera up and went about my cleaning, just stopping to push the timer on my camera, I need a remote it is getting harder to do these selfies without one. While I was taking my photos this time my husband and my middle chid got in some of them. I liked it so I left them in there.

After reading New Moon....day 139-365
I wanted a forest picture. So I set my camera up in my yard and entered the empty lot next to us. Took a few photos, but ended up liking the first one I took out of the 15 that I did take...all I did in PP on this photo is pop the green and added red to my hair.

Return to Oz....day 138-365
I remember a movie called Return To OZ, the second Wizard of Oz movie. There was a lady that had a room full of heads that she would change out. I wanted to do a room full of picture frames then take my picture there and photoshop a bunch of my own heads in the frames. But I don't have a room that I could do that in. But still this one was fun to play with in photo shop.

reading....day 136-365
There is this new rule at the chili's I work at. We are not allowed to sit down to eat in the restaurant in between shifts. They want us to wait an hour and change out of our work clothes before sitting in the restaurant as a customer. I am not for it and I didn't want to change out of my clothing, so I ate in the back like they want us to do. When I was done I had a little less than two hours before I had to be back to work. I went to the dollar store to pick up glow sticks for my kids because of 4th of July coming and I don't want my youngest ones to play with sparklers yet (she is only 3). That didn't take me long so I then walked into Target just to look. Then I remember wanting to watch twilight but I hadn't read the book yet, I like to read books before I see the movie. So I got the book and let me say I love this book now. I read a few chapters before going back to work. When I went home I did my normal night reading, but it ended up not like my normal night reading. I couldn't stop! I like to stop at the end of a chapter but every end made me want to find out more, it was 4am before I realized what time it was. I love this book because it pulled me in, I had to know more. I finished it in 2 days. I would read while I folded laundry, while cooking, while I vacuumed. It slowed me down some but I just couldn't put it down. I had to stop only because it made my head hurt to read so much in one day.

motion blur play time... day 135-365
It has been a while since I played with motion blur. So I wanted to try again. I set my camera up and took a few shots of me shaking my head. I then added a texture that I found on flickr called green dream to add a little to the image.

SILENCE!!!!! day 134-365
Silence was the theme from the hideout. I will be working on another one of these soon. I wanted to use red paint, because when I think of red I think of stop or danger, the usual stuff. But I didn't have any red craft paint. I only had yellow, green and pink from a recent project I made for my daughter's 3rd birthday. So I figured green would work out OK. No real reason behind the green. After I finished the picture I now see green on there and think about how green changed the whole look I was going for and made it something different. I really like how this turned out with the green and I don't think I would of liked it as much if it was red paint.

day 132-365, staying cool while my kids play outside....
It is really hot here in Florida right now. To me it feels like it is 100 degrees outside. I wanted to sit outside on this blanket but ended up putting it on my head to keep cool. My kids don't mind the heat and would play for hours outside in it if I let them, but I was hot so they only played for about an hour before I wanted to go back inside. I figured the yellow blanket on my head would make for an interesting picture. I love the bokeh behind me.

Wanted to play with 2 light setup again. So I had set up one diffused light to the camera left and one behind the camera. Tossed a fan in the mix and had a little fun.

Love my bathroom so much now that the remodel is 99.8% complete. I will miss it so when the house sells. But it will be great as long as it lasts. I may miss the wonderful new bathrooms and kitchen in my house when it sells but the upgrade to a bigger house will make it all worth it.

Our bathroom, it isn't 100% finished yet, but it is 98.9% complete. So I cleaned a little more than I normally do. I am now ready to paint it white (blah), then put the mirror back up.

Me and an old Minolta, day 128-365
This was once my Dad's 1966 Minolta Hi-Matic 7s and Minolta De Luxe Flash Gun. I just found the online manual to this and now need to order the battery for this camera so I can try it out. I am so glad that it takes 35mm film, unlike the other 2 cameras that once belonged to my Dad.

I saw somewhere on model mayhem a photo with daisy petals glued onto eyelashes. I don't have any flowers right now or do I own false eyelash glue so I used photoshop to get this look. Daisy image is from one of my older photos.

I wanted to try my hand at light from a candle. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It was fun too. I used only the light from a tea light candle that I held in my hand. I will post some out-takes for you with camera settings in flickr later this week.

After hours of walking Angelica finds a small clearing, she sits down. At first she was frightened, not knowing where she was, or who she would meet in the forest. Then she was surrounded by butterflies, a clamming sensation came over her as the blue bird landed on her hand.

As the sun sets, a heavy fog appears from the ground. Rising up engulfing the entry to the graveyard. She waits, but not for long. The ground starts to quake arousing the dead. Soon her army of followers will help her take over.

I think I spend more time cleaning than anything else, but that is life. The walls are still empty because of the kitchen and bath remodel, we didn't want dust all over our stuff. I love how these cleaning ones turn out. By the time this 365 project is done I will have one of these for every room in my house.
