I don't do enough natural light photos to know how to use the shadows to enhance the photo. So you are going to see a lot of natural light photos during my 365 project. Here all I had was a reflector, it lightened the shadows but not all the way. This photo was taken when the sun was almost at it's highest point.

Day 26, February 26th.
My idea for this photo came to me right before I took the picture. I wanted me reading a photography magazine with me on the cover.
On the cover is one of the out-takes from Day 27 natural lighting experiment. Natural light photography is something I don't do much and want to work on it so I can pose people so the shadows are not distracting.

Day 25, February 25th, killed two birds with one stone...
Zoomed in on my photo from 100 faces {telling stories} Because I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. I knew once I took his picture I would be in his glasses so I didn't have to take a 365 today. I know it is sort of cheating my project but I will not do this type too much, I promise.
Day 24, February 24th, Lighting 101
After playing with my lights for about a half hour I remembered my baby wings prop. I took 3 photos with the wings and loved this one.
I used Michelle Blacks Soft Bleach-Out Glaze PS action on this. I also made the wings a little longer. I had a hair light and a light to my right.

Day 23, February 23rd, a page oout of my book of life

Just wanted to share some of what I do everyday, maybe not always the same room everyday. Cleaning my house with 3 kids is a never ending battle. My fav part of this is where I am cleaning the table off and my daughter is putting her hand print on a clean spot.

Day 22, February 22nd, Unknown

I took my kids to a small carnaval after lunch and took a few pictures of the rides, my kids and I didn't ride any rides we just played the games there. When I came home I took a picture of my hand..had no clue where I was going with it. Then when I was looking at the caranval pictures I came up with this idea. I used 2 pictures, one of my hand and one of the girl on the swing ride. Then I created a ball and made it glow, created another ball to give it a 3d feel. Then added one of Designs by Tami's Textures on it.

Day 21, February 21st, Lighting 101
Lighting, something I don't change offten. I stick to the same lighting for all of my sessions, so I figured I would try out other styles of lighting on myself to see what I can use for future clients. Plus the hideout has a thing on Dramatic Lighting this week. So it was something I wanted to try but didn't push myself until they had the theme.

Soar was my random word from the random word generator today...so this is what I came up with....This photo is composed from 6 different photos to create the look I wanted. Then topped off with a fun watercolor texture. I love photoshop!

Day 18, February 18th, had an idea
I had an idea with me standing and my two little ones running around me but only one wanted to. So I sat down and let him run wild while I snapped away. This was the best out of 10...some he ran too fast and couldn't see him at all. Others he stopped when he heard the camera go.
Day 16, February 16th, couldn't help myself
Took this with my cell phone while I was at the zoo. I didn't want to bring my camera for that zoo trip and saw so many things I could of captured that day.
Day 17, February 17th, sick day
this was almost all I did on Feb 17th. I think I had the flu. Achy and tired. But I still took my daily selfie. I will come up with artsy ones soon I promise.

Day 13, February 13th, my first love
Since I can remember I have loved to draw. I take breaks from drawing, sometimes months, but I always go back to it, it is my first love. This is a portrait I took of my middle child. I loved it so much of him that I wanted to draw it.

Day 10, February 10th, learning to knit
OK I taught myself how to knit today, I sat there and made two baby hats. One didn't turn out the way I wanted but the second one was perfect.
Day 9, February 9th, still on vacation
Got this idea from someone on the hideout a few months ago. I don't remember who. I'm in my husbands' sunglasses along with all my kids, well part of my middle child because he is sitting down in a stroller.

Day seven, February 7th, magics in the makeup
Day 7 was made because of an alter ego contest on the hideout. The rules where to take a self portrait of yourself with an alter ego it can be who you want to be, who you where, who you don't want to be like. We also had to write a short story with it. This is something I once was, it was really like an alter ego because I would change when I played the drums on stage.

By day she is an average Mother and wife, but every night she takes on a different personality and a different name. She does it for the thrill and for her love of music. After she puts on her makeup, her outfit and grabs her drumsticks she becomes Kayla. The outgoing, bad ass drummer chick. Once she is on stage nothing is better, until the makeup comes off and she becomes herself again. Just plain Olivia, mother, wife and photographer.

I can't believe how cold it was. We had below 32 last night, come on this is FLORIDA it doesn't get cold here that often. We had no power, so I gave my kids cereal for breakfast then climbed back in bed

It was 11:30pm almost forgot, took a picture of my feet. It was cold, I was tired from working at chili's that night, and I didn't want to get up off my butt.
Day 4, February 4th, cookie anyone?
I made cookies today, wanted to use a cookie in my 365. My middle child in the background was saying he was break dancing.

Still just getting the idea to take a photo of myself every day. Just relaxing in the tub when I remembered I needed to find time to take a picture so, grabbed my camera climbed back in the tub and took a picture. I promise after I get use to taking a self portrait everyday I will start being creative with either photoshop, lighting or poses.
Day 2, February 2nd, still not sure yet...
OK, I wasn't sure where I was going with this project. I know I should be using lighting or cool photoshop effects, but first I just need to get use to the idea of taking a photo of myself everyday. It is something that just feels a bit odd right now.
Day one, February 1st, not sure what to do...
So after watching so many people do the 365 project, I thought to myself, why not. So here is my first day. I wasn't sure what do do, don't have much time today to be really creative since I work at chili's this afternoon and wont be home until the super bowl game starts.
